5 Fall Decor Ideas to Make Your Home Cozy this Season
Fall is just around the corner and we could not be more excited! We’re all for layers, rich earthy tones, and the feeling of a fresh start. That being said, today we’re coming to you with a few simple changes to your home’s aesthetic in order to embrace fall’s satisfying magic in any room. From making a seasonal shift on the mantelpiece to swapping out your pillow cases—these are our five favourite fall decor ideas to revamp your space for the season:

In the cozy months, we tend to opt for accent lamps or candles instead of our everyday lighting for a more intimate atmosphere. Add candles to your home for warmth, ambiance and to give any room in the house a soothing autumn scent. With different scents, shapes, sizes and colours to choose from, candles make great additions to any tabletop surface for a special touch.

Last year was allll about layering outdoor rugs and we’re not over it. This year we’re doing it again, but with a few extra tips to really elevate the look. Layering is a great way to spruce up your entryway and go above and beyond the standard single mat look. Whether you’d like to layer double or even triple, keep in mind that you want contrast with each layer. To start, take a flat outdoor rug in a pattern or fall colour and lay it on top of a textured mat that is a few inches larger.
